Alan's obituary

Dennis "Alan" Ihrig, 61, of Marysville, WA, passed away on December 17, 2022 after a battle with Lung Disease.

Alan was born on December 7, 1961 to Dennis and Judy Ihrig in Seattle, WA. While attending Nathan Hale High School he met the love of his life, Candis, and they wed in 1984, going on to have two children, Alyson and Taryn. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Equally important to Alan were his many lifelong friends and the many memories they’ve made together over the years.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Judy and Dennis Ihrig. He is survived by his wife, Candis, his daughters, Taryn (and husband Dylan) and Alyson (and husband Peter), and his four grandchildren, Ronny, Landon, Macy, and Nora; who were his pride and joy.

There will be a memorial in his honor on February 12, 2023 in Lake Stevens.

Rest easy, “Big Al”
