Alan and I were each others best man. Even though we did not see each other much in the latter part of our lives, his passing had a strong effect on me. I first met Alan freshman year at SI. He sat behind me. We started hanging out. Alan was a great guy, likable and easily the center of attention of a group of friends who lived in the Stonestown apts. Too many good times to even list, but I'm sure he would list meeting Courtney as the best thing he ever did. They were one of the only couples I know that made it forever. Alan I'm sorry we didn't spend more time together, but grateful for the time we had. Rest In Peace
