Alan and Kathy were a beautiful couple that always seem to bring fun and laughter whenever we saw them…which was mostly at church. Alan was thoughtful and caring asking about how Bruce was doing. Kathy is amazingly keeping busy and doing well but I know she misses “the love of her life” everyday. Much love to you, Kathy❤️
Sal and I were reminiscing of our many anniversaries we celebrated with you and Alan and friends at the old Mario’s restaurant in Detroit. We never forget the delicious endless meals we enjoyed together and what fun it was. Alan was the life of the party making us laugh. He was so flamboyant always entertaining us. We sure do miss those good old days. Another memory we love was vacationing together at Cape Cod and meeting Pat Langley, MeMa, and Olga. Every evening Alan would make us his special Cape Cod cocktail. It was because of Alan we became good friends of Pat and to this day we still correspond and look forward to seeing her when she visits Kathy. We were so blessed to have Alan in our life. Thank you Alan until we meet again.
I did not know Alan real well but I will always remember him as being a very kind man. After I lost my husband he and Kathy invited me over to share a meal with them. He asked if there was anything he could do, as a counselor, to help me get through the loss of my husband. I thought that to be very generous and kind of him.
Just a couple years later he also passed very suddenly just like my husband. So very sad!
I truly believe one of the most impactful person I met along my life and career journey was Alan. Through our many years of working together, we shared many moments of laughter, joy, and a few tears. He was a true friend, and he will never be forgotten. Alan was a great blessing in my life❤️ I miss him dearly. May his soul rest in our Lords loving home. Until we meet again…..
Alan deeply loved his family, friends and colleagues. He started his career at General Motors in 1966, and received his MA in Counseling later in his life. He enjoyed helping people especially those he counseled who were police officers, those who served in the military, and couples with marital issues. He had great impact in lives of his family, his clients and his friends.
