Aiden's obituary

We mourn the loss of Aiden Fournier, born on August 1, 2006, who left us unexpectedly on October 11, 2024. Known by his friends and family for his fun-loving, adventurous spirit and quick wit, Aiden's Joy for life was infectious and he will be deeply missed.

Aiden leaves behind his loving family, his mother Ashley Fournier, his father Marc Fournier, his brothers Xavier and Orion Fournier, and his girlfriend Faith Roberts. He also leaves behind his loving grandparents; Doris Howard, Joseph & Phyllis Fournier, and Lisa Eavou. He was predeceased by his Aunt, Patricia Schaub.

Aiden approached life with enthusiasm and inspired others to share in experiences. He loved fishing, hunting, cooking, surfing, dirt biking, skateboarding, and snowboarding with friends and family. His love for the outdoors was only surpassed by the love he held for his family with whom he shared innumerable momemts. He was the best brother and son. His father will miss his best hunting and fishing buddy. His mother will miss her bright, beautiful son who brought her constant joy. His little brother, Orion, will miss his big brother, who always let him ride shotgun in his car, brightened his days by always including him in everything he did, including going on dates with his girlfriend, Faith--whatever Aiden did, his little brother was welcome to tag along. Faith will miss the person who loved her the most in the world and took care of her, and never failed to make her laugh. His older brother, Xavier, will miss his skateboarding and snowboarding buddy, and the one person he could always count on to cheer him up and provide uplifting counsel during tough times. He has left a full calendar of planned, and spontaneuos, adventures with his family and friends. He had a chance at the brightest of futures.

His confident nature and steadfast approach to life made him a role model for many, especially his brothers. Aiden's caring nature shone through his deep affinity for children and babies. He was a friend to everyone, young and old. His goal-driven personality reflected in his academic and professional achievements; he graduated high school at Choctawhatchee High School in Florida and enlisted in the Air Force. He was selected for his first choice of jobs in Air Traffic Control and was looking forward to basic training, then tech school, and a promising career. Aiden also worked at Ace Hardware in Traverse City since the age of 14, and became a manager at Helen Back Pizzeria near his home in Florida, showing his dedication and commitment to his responsibilities.

He leaves behind a loving legacy; a devoted son, brother, cousin, and a loving partner to his girlfriend, Faith. His life may have been tragically short, but the impact he made on the lives of everyone he touched will be remembered forever.

Services will be held at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home & Cremation Services; A memorial will be held on Friday, October 18th at 6:00-8:00 PM.
