Agnes's obituary
Agnes Elizabeth Tish was born December 11, 1922 to Albert and Frances Oglevie in Jewell County, KS. She passed away in Caldwell on February 11, 2006.
Agnes is survived by her husband of 64 years, Alva; 2 brothers, Dean (Janet) Oglevie of Donnelly and Lewis (Sherrill) Oglevie of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister, Arlene Richardson of Seattle, WA; 2 daughters Jean (Tom) Clough of Nampa and Betty (Monty) Neff of Emporia, KS; 2 sons, Harold (Karen) Tish and Roger (Karon) Tish all of Greenleaf; and 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 9 great-grandchildren.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Velma.
Homemaking, her children and her church were the center of her life. Agnes spent several years on Canyon County Farm Bureau Women's Committee and was District 4 Farm Woman of the Year. She and her husband, Alva, were named Caldwell Chamber of Commerce Farm Family of the Year in 1996.
Agnes loved quilting and taught quilting classes. Many of her quilting masterpieces were given away to family and friends. Memorials may be made to Greenleaf Friends Academy, 20565 N. Academy Rd., Greenleaf, ID 83626.
