Born in Jacksonville in 1955, the loving daughter to Dorcas B Drake and Kenneth Ivan Drake, and younger sister to Charles Foster, she lived this life on her own terms.
Known to everyone as “Jo”, she was a wife, a mother, an artist, a writer, an avid student of the martial arts,, a lucid idealist, and a rampant futur- ist, who spent a lifetime focused on helping others.

I realize it’s been a year since my mother passed away but we did not do the obituary at that time as things were just very emotional and stressful. I want to thank everyone for the love and compassion they’ve shown our family and to my mother while she walked this earth.
