Ms. Afonda Lucille Stanley passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Stafford, NJ at the age of 42.

Afonda was born on October 17, 1979, in Atlantic City, NJ to Alfonzo Fisher and Bertha Stanley. She attended Atlantic City public schools. Afonda worked as a CNA for many years, a receptionist, a teacher's assistant and more recently taught Sunday School at her church. She was affectionately known as a sweet, kind and good-hearted person. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, loving mother. She loved her family very much. Her passion was her children. Afonda was a very outgoing person, she always welcomed new people into her life. Although she lived far away, she always kept in contact with her family. She loved to laugh, dance and listen to music.

Afonda is survived by her 4 children, Khyree, Ahree, Kamil and Aaron. She is also survived by 2 Brothers, William Stanley Sr and David Stanley. Her Stepfather William Gerald, Aunts, Cathy Stanley and Betty Parker, Uncle Billy (Ella) Stanley. Special cousins; Keith, Al, Nicole, Fatima, Nate, Richard, Tony, Sharon and Debbie. Nephew, William Jr and nieces, Jah’ney and Ja’Niyah. Life Partner, Raymond Lawson; as well as a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, David and Lucille Stanley; mother, Bertha Stanley; aunt, Mary Prather, and cousin, Reesie Stanley.
