My condolences to AJ's family. I became close to AJ rather quickly. He was a funny, smart, and a funny person. We hung out nearly every day the last few months. Talking about anything and everything. He loved to write, and he told me that one day he wanted to write a book, and to help other people in the mental health sector. It hurts my heart that he is no longer here with us. He will be extremely missed. Thank you AJ. For being my friend, and being there when I needed someone to talk to. I love you bro.

I had the pleasure of getting to know AJ over the past few months. I heard him speak about the aspirations he had for his future (wanting to write a book, become a therapist and help others). When I saw him he was usually journaling, reading or coloring. He always seemed to be productive and making the best of his time. He always has wise and heartfelt advice. He is humble and kind.
