Adriano's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adriano "Ano" Torre. Born on December 18, 2004, Adriano departed from us too soon on September 12, 2024.

Adriano is survived by his family; his father and mother, Frank and Heather Torre, and his brother, Giovanni Torre. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Adriano's life is scheduled for October 14, 2024, from 3:00  to 6:30 PM at the Rockwell Park pond & gazebo. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering his unique spirit. Come anytime during that period. Pizza and refreshments will be served in the gazebo.  We will launch Memory lanterns at dusk.

Adriano  graduated from Bristol Eastern High School in 2023 and was attending college at Tunxis Community College.  He worked as a cashier and stockist at Target in Southington, and enjoyed his job quite a bit, unless he was tasked with taking garbage out to the dumpster. An ardent lover of all things spicy, Adriano had a particular affection for 2x spicy Buldak Noodles & kimchi and had a vast range of hot sauces. His favorite was always Rooster brand Sriracha.

When not savoring the spicier things in life, some of Adriano  interests included 70's music, educational documentaries, gaming & he was working on building a website for his future business adventures.  Some of his favorite songs were "Let my love open the door" by Pete Townsend, "99 Luft Balloons" and the Staying Alive/Back in Black mashup from the BeeGees & AC/DC.

Adriano loved our cat, Salem, and would sit with her on the couch, petting her and whispering to her sweetly. She has been searching the house for him since he passed.

Adriano was a dedicated supporter of the New York Rangers and enjoyed playing  soccer.  Adriano loved nothing more than getaway trips to The Cape, Florida, South Carolina, and anywhere tropical. His favorite spots held the charm of palm trees, a fascination he held dear to his heart.

Adriano was described by friends as a kind and sweet soul. He loved trips to Buc-ees's and he had dreams of travelling the world and was planning to join the National Guard. He also enjoyed celebrating Halloween with his family -  this was a favorite holiday for the family with creative costumes, decorations and socializing with neighbors.

Adriano's heart and spirit will live on in our memories.  As we grieve his tragic loss, we will celebrate his life and cherish all that he gave us while he was with us.
