Adrianna's obituary
Adrianna Gabrielle Rigau Jordan, aged 21, passed away on November 23, 2023, in Fort Myers, Florida. Born on July 18, 2002, to Rosendo M. Rigau and Maribel Jordan, Adrianna was a beacon of joy, known for her ever-present smile and infectious humor.
Adrianna attended FSU Pembroke Pines Charter Elementary School, followed by Gulf Coast High School, graduating in the class of 2020. She continued her education at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she further developed her passion for learning and helping others. At the time of her passing, Adrianna was employed as a paraprofessional at Charlotte County Public Schools.
A devout member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Adrianna's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was deeply involved in church activities and found great solace and community in her congregation.
Adrianna was a vibrant soul with a variety of interests. She was an avid reader, particularly of the Harry Potter series, and enjoyed the music of Taylor Swift. Her love for swimming was not just a hobby but also a responsibility; she served as a lifeguard, always ensuring the safety of others. Adrianna's loyalty and love were not limited to humans; she adored her dogs and cherished every moment spent with them.
Her family was the center of her world. Adrianna is survived by her father, Rosendo M. Rigau; her mother, Maribel Jordan; her sister, Astrid G. Rigau-Gonzalez; and her brother-in-law, Caleb T. Gonzales. She was especially excited about her upcoming role as the maid of honor at her sister's wedding, a testament to their close bond.
The burial service for Adrianna will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on July 18, 2025, at 10:30 am. A memorial service Mass will follow on July 25, 2025, at 11am at San Antonio Catholic Church, Rampart Blvd, Port Charlotte.
Adrianna's life, though brief, was marked by her unwavering kindness, loyalty, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy will continue to inspire and resonate within her community, family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
