Not sure if anyone still reading these but I think about Tanner often still with happiness that I knew him in his prime and sadness that we didn’t get together more later in life.  Birthdays were always a fun time!!  HBD Tan
Happy 56th birthday!  I miss you very much and life is so different without you!!
Tanner was a charismatic genius and math prodigy.  He excelled at so many things including pool and chess.  He was a good friend and fraternity brother.  I have tons of crazy memories with Tanner.  I hadn't communicated with him in years, sure wish I had.

I don’t see an obituary so I will write a summary about my friend Tanner

Tanner was a rare combination of academic genius and personality.   He was exposed to family situations that would handicap most people; but Tanner would persevere and thrive.  He would create math testing exams for the US math/Olympic teams and concurrently play pool at all the little dives around Waco, TX half the night.  We were partners most of the time!

Tanner was quick to know what and who he liked and didn’t like.   He wasn’t fond of wasting time on things that didn’t interest him or were inefficient; and he would stay connected long term to things that he loved.

Waco wasn’t a big enough town for him and he would finish up his math education at the university of Chicago.   From there he worked at the highest level of math and actuarial jobs for nationwide and many other ins companies on the eastern seaboard.

He was constantly creating unique websites for music and math.   I talked with many of professional (super smart) colleagues about this one buddy I had that can do anything in math (and probably has).   I wish more people could have known Tanner and I wish I had more time with him!

I will miss you my friend and fellow Lambda Chi Alpha frat brother……

I miss you more than words can say.  I know you are no longer in pain and for that I am grateful.  I will always wish for one more call, one more text or one more movie night with you!  I love you!
