Adrian's obituary

Adrian Dean Jones "Corky" passed away Peacefully on May 2, 2024, in Hobart, Indiana, at the age of 80. He was born on May 3, 1943, in Chicago. Corky, as he was affectionately known, was a Firefighter/EMT for the town of Justice Illinois.  Later in the life he finished his career as a Maintenance worker for The First United Church of Lansing IL.

Corky will be remembered for his love of watching his favorite TV shows, enjoying his morning coffee or Diet Pepsi and Cigarettes on the deck while greeting neighbors, and cherishing family gatherings.  He was a LIFELONG Chicago Bears fan. His warm and friendly nature endeared him to all who knew him.

Corky was Preceded in death by His Beloved Wife Dorothy, his parents Ralph and Virginia Jones, his Daughter Dawn and his three siblings, Bill, Dale and Connie.

Corky is survived by his children: Donna, Adrian (Pam), Shawn, Tim (Beth), and Robin (Steve). His Grandchildren: Megan (Jereme), Mary, Chase, Emily, Carlin, Rylee, Chance, Ella, Quinn,  Billy, and Michael.. Several Great Grandchildren, Sister and Brother In-Laws, Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial service and Celebration of Life to honor Corky will be held on Sat. June 22nd at First United Methodist Church of Lansing Il. 18420 Burnham Ave. Lansing IL.  10 Am Visitation, 11 Am Service, Luncheon following in Fellowship Hall.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or The First United Methodist Church of Lansing, Illinois.

Corky's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
