Adeyemi's obituary
Doctor Adeyemi Abraham Adeosun was born into the Christian Home of Late PA Sunday Olayinka Adeosun and Olufunke Abigail Adeosun on July 21st, 1981, in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. He went to be with the Lord on November 19th, 2023.
“For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord; whether we live therefore, or die we are the Lord’s.” (Romans 14:8)
After completing his primary and secondary School education in Osogbo, Osun State Nigeria, Doctor Adeyemi gained admission to the medical school at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Affectionately known as Dr. Coco by many friends and family, he proceeded to complete his residency training at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Kwara State, Nigeria.
Following his residency, he moved to the United States and married Bamidupe. They are blessed with two remarkable children, Eliana Adebanke Adeosun and David Olumide Adeosun. His children were his world, and he loved them dearly. Dr. Coco instilled in them the values of loving Christ, themselves, and other, emphasizing the importance of relationships and deep connection with Jesus Christ through prayer and love.
While in the United States, Dr. Coco pursued a career as a Research Physician at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Coco loved the Lord, his family, friends, and community. He dedicated his life to improving the lives of others, always seeing the best in people. With a passion for history, music, art, dancing, mancala, draughts (checkers), and playing ping-pong (table tennis), he brought joy and life to those around him, even in difficult times.
Deeply committed to his community, Dr. Coco served various organizations, including his home church, Kingdom Connection Christian Center.
Not only a skilled professional, Dr. Coco was a mentor and leader with keen eye for opportunities. He went out of his way to establish connections that improve the lives of others. His guidance and leadership inspired those around him and had a lasting impact on the community. Dr. Coco believed in the power of mentorship and used his knowledge and experience to uplift and empower others, fostering a sense of growth and development in those he touched. His legacy extends beyond his professional achievements, encompassing the positive influence he had on the lives of everyone he interacted with.
We know that Dr. Adeyemi Abraham Adeosun is now resting with our Lord and Savior God. We miss him immensely and are grateful for the memorable moments we shared. We will forever cherish him in our hearts until we meet again.
