Adesola's obituary

On November 14th heaven gained the most amazing angel, Shola Oguntoye-Amos. After first being diagnosed with Leukemia in 1995, getting a life changing bone marrow transplant in 1997 and being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 our mom is finally at peace after 27 years of battling cancers.

For those who knew her best she was always a fighter! She fought fiercely for those she loved. As a mother she fought constantly to provide love and joy to Keji and I.  As a nurse she fought for her patients. As a sister, wife, and friend she fought for her relationships. At 4'10" she was a tiny ball of energy - small but mighty. Her energy, love and laughter were enough to fill a room. What we love most was how thoughtful she was, how she made everyone feel so special and cared for. In her 66 years of life she has touched so many lives in the most profound ways.

We love you mom, may you finally be at peace and rest
