Mi madre Adelfa Toirac fue el baston de la familia quien siempre tenia su apoyo y ayuda con todo. Ella le gustaba arreglar todo aunque no siempre tenia el talento de electricista. Muchos chistes fueron de su pasado pero siempre tenia chistes nuevo. Ella amaba a su familia y sus hijos y nietos. Cuando algo faltaba, ella lo buscaba. Muchas veces todo terminaba feliz por ella y su interes en arreglar todo. Ella a mi me ayudaba siempre y me apoyaba con todo. Para mi fue un deber y placer en cuidarla en su dias finales. Para mi fue triste que ella nunca llego tener una vida tranquila y feliz en este mundo. Tambien fue triste verla sufrir en su ultimo dias de vida. Pero ahora ella esta con su hijo Moise, su madre, tia, hermana y esposo en el Reino de Dios. /

My mother Adelfa was a walking cane for her family and a huge support to her friends. Her talent for fixing things was unique but not always successful with electronics. She was also much of a comedian with funny cuban jokes. My mom loved her family and cherished every moment she had with them. Her joy was with her loving children and grandchildren. Whenever we needed something, she would go the distance to get it without a second thought and always fought for her family. Her life was always work and work and then take care of her family without enjoying a moment to herself. My sadness is that she never did get to enjoy the freedom to relax in comfort. For me it was a huge honor to care for her in her final years of her life and sad that the final days were stressful for her but now she is with her mother, grandmother, aunt, her husband, her son and sister in the Kingdom of Heaven.
