Adele Louise Johnson, 93, of Crosslake, MN, passed away on April 17, 2023. She was at her home in Chandler, Arizona. At her side was her son, Scott, his wife, Laurie, granddaughter, Amy with her husband, Greg (via phone). Adele drew her last breath peacefully and gracefully during scripture, prayer, and song provided by Pastor Keith Robinson (via phone). 

Adele was a strong, independent, witty woman who loved her family deeply. She enjoyed life and filled it with activities including playing cards, cooking, many arts and crafts, and reading. Adele had a great social life and was surrounded with many friends wherever she went.

She was a dedicated wife and partner to her husband of 54 years and one true love, Vern Johnson. They raised their two sons and built a beautiful life together.

Adele was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mable Runde, brother, John Runde,  husband, Vern Johnson, and son, Michael Glor.

Her surviving family includes her son, Scott, his wife, Laurie, her daughter-in-law, Pam, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date at Brenny Funeral Home in Crosslake, Minnesota. Details will be posted on our memorial website when available.
