Adegboyega's obituary
Late Adegboyega Abayomi Olufemi Ajayi was born on the 15th of August, 1975, into the family of Late Kehinde Ajayi and Late Mrs. Yetunde Ajayi of Awa, in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria.
He began his early education at Precious Stone Primary School, located at Lagos Garage, Ijebu-Ode, where he laid a solid academic foundation. He subsequently proceeded to Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, Ijebu-Ode, for his secondary education, demonstrating diligence and a strong commitment to learning.
In pursuit of higher education, Adegboyega gained admission to the Federal University of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State, where he studied Agricultural Economics. His time at the university equipped him with the knowledge and discipline that would later shape his professional career.
Upon graduation, he commenced his banking career with the United Bank for Africa (UBA). Through dedication, integrity, and hard work, he rose through the ranks to attain the position of Business Manager. His professional journey was marked by excellence, leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Late Adegboyega Ajayi was a devoted family man. Though his beloved wife predeceased him, their union was blessed with three children: Fola, Anjola, and Ire Ajayi, who remain his enduring legacy.
He is also survived by his siblings, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, extended family members, and loved ones, all of whom cherish his memory and the impact he made during his lifetime.
Late Adegboyega Abayomi Olufemi Ajayi will be remembered for his dedication to his career, his love for family, and his admirable character. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
