Adam was killed 1010 days ago and there has not been one that I have not thought of him...missed him...grieved him...If you are reading this, you knew and love him too and I want to thank you for that love.
I also want to make sure you all know that there is now a portfolio book available that Emily has put together.
Here is what she has to say about it: "Adam’s artwork and generous practice profoundly impacted my life and my studio practice, I still amongst his reminders daily. I knew immediately after the outpouring of work that was shared at his memorial that I wanted to put together a collection. After years of collecting, photographing, exchanges, drafts, sticky notes, emails, and phone calls with Mandy I have created a museum quality book of many works by Adam. While I could never truly capture the love, creativity, and fearlessness he put into his making practice, I believe he would blush at this volume. It is 92 pages and has over 100 images, I have also written about his techniques, his gifting, his friendships, and his loves."
Here is the link if you would like to check it out/get a copy for yourself:

She has done a great job putting this together and I hope that by reading through this book you feel connected to him.

This is my memory of Adam. A call on a frigid Saturday morning. “Hey dad, I heard the Cascades are frozen. Let’s hike up and take some pics”. It was near Zero degrees but I agreed!

I am so sorry for your loss. I went to First Baptist with Adam in jr high-high school. He was friends with my brother and he and I ended up dating for maybe 6 months. We shared a love of art and he taught me a lot of techniques. He gave me lots of art we still have. He taught me a lot about music and what he wanted out of life. We were young with no money so we went on lots of picnics and hikes. He was always sweet, kind, and humble. I was sad when he left for Colorado and I lost touch with him, but it seems he found what he was looking for in life. He will be missed by many I know.
Someone said they hope that Adam’s talent will be used by God. I truly hope our sunsets and rainbows get a little more artistic thanks to him. And, I know he will find joy in all the artists and musicians he will find in heaven. Rosanne Hulvey
