Adam's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce Adam Peterson of Greybull, WY, passed away on May 29, 2025.
A memorial for Adam will be at 1 p.m., June 22, 2025, at the group picnic area of Medicine Lodge Archaeological Site near Hyattville, WY. Friends and family are invited to attend. In honor of Adam's personality and preferences, this memorial will be an informal potluck for those who knew and loved him to remember Adam and celebrate his life.
Throughout his life, Adam had a love of music and the mountains, and his loss will undoubtedly leave a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His life was well lived with grace, dignity, and he had a profound and positive impact on those around him. As we mourn his loss on earth, we find comfort in knowing that he is in heaven.
Adam was born on August 20, 1972, in Scottsbluff, Neb., and is survived by his three children, Cree Merchen (Mike) of Gillette, WY., Li Eden Peake (James) of Grand Junction, CO., and Salem Renee Peterson of Basin, WY.; his parents, Linda and Ed Peterson of Cody, WY.; his sisters, Sarah Peterson (Chris) of Seattle, WA., and Rachel Peterson (Alex) of Missoula, MT.; his niece, Aya Sofia (Sarah), and nephew, Alpin (Rachel); his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Loose of Scottsbluff, Neb.; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his girlfriend, Teresa of Greybull, Wyo. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chet and Edna Peterson of Pinedale, Wyo.
