adam's obituary
Adam M. Keppen, 45, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Bath, New York. Born on April 3, 1980, Adam grew up in Naples, where he attended school and graduated from Naples High School in 1999.
Adam was a man of deep compassion and unwavering loyalty. He had a heart that was always open to others and a helping hand ready for anyone in need. Whether it was family, friends, or someone he had just met, Adam offered his support without hesitation or judgment. His honesty and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—building model cars with care and precision, casting a line into the water on peaceful fishing days, or taking long walks around town while admiring the clouds above. The outdoors called to him often; he loved going for drives and spending time surrounded by nature. Animals held a special place in his heart, especially his beloved cat Minnie.
Adam’s love extended deeply to his family. He is survived by his fiancée Heather Johnson; his mother Sally Keppen; his children Skyler Greene, Cody Keppen, and Amber Keppen; He also leaves behind two sisters: Tracy Moore and Angela Babbitt (Jeff). Adam embraced many others as family throughout his life—those he adopted into his heart—and they loved him dearly in return. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leona and Fred Fox; his aunt Barbara VanAuker; and his uncle James VanAuker.
Adam’s legacy is one of generosity, sincerity, and unconditional love. His presence brought comfort to those around him, and his memory will continue to inspire acts of kindness among those who were fortunate enough to know him.
May his memory bring peace to all who mourn him. A Memorial Gathering will be held on May 25, 2025, at 02:00 PM at Naples Trinity Federated Church 119 N. Main Street . A Celebration of Adam's life will be held , all our welcome to attend.
