You will be missed, my friend! Adam was one of my first friends on-line, a valuable member of the old alt.books.ghost-fiction group on Google, which included several publishers (Ash-Tree Press, Midnight House, Tartarus Press, Swan River Press & others), writers, editors, and dedicated readers of spectral fiction from the dawn of time to the present. Adam was an eager participant in the lively camaraderie and bantering debate that kept the group alive, and when I first started writing for and sharing research with the group, which eventually resulted in invitations to write for publication,  Adam was one of the most encouraging. I acknowledged that in two of my books, including the one published this Fall. After the group dissolved, we remained friends through Facebook, though he dropped out of sight occasionally. I regret that plans to meet in person never came to fruition. Despite that, the Adam I knew was a kind, generous, well-read, and articulate man I am proud to have called my friend.
