I met Adam at a time when mental illness was beginning to severely impact my life, at the young age of 14. It was clear then that he was also battling demons, but we found solace in our friendship. He was my first date, my first kiss. I'm so saddened that his life ended so prematurely; knowing him is a favorite memory of mine during my formative years. R.I.P Adam!
