Abraham's obituary

Today we are here to celebrate the life of Abraham Lincoln. Our deeply beloved president of the United States was assassinated on April 15, 1865. Lincoln was the son of Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Lincoln. Abraham was married to Mary Todd Lincoln and had four sons together, Robert Todd Lincoln, Tad Lincoln, William Wallace Lincoln, and Edward Baker Lincoln. Abe was a very loving father and husband, he always thought of his family before himself. Abraham grew up in County, Kentucky with his brother Thomas Lincoln, Jr, and his sister Sarah Lincoln Grigsby. Abraham spent his early years on a family farm in Southern India. Lincoln worked as a boatman, a store clerk, a surveyor, militia soldier, and eventually became a lawyer in Illinois. Later on, Abe was elected to the Illinois legislator in 1834. He then married his lovely wife, Mary in 1842. Lincoln continued to take on his politics career and became the United States House of Representative from Illinois in 1846. In 1860, Abraham was blessed to be able to be called the president of the United States. During his presidency, Abe established the Emancipation Proclamation which abolished slavery, and created the Gettysburg Address which is one of his most famous pieces. Abraham was a very good president and made a lot of decisions that changed the United States history forever. As Abraham was at a play celebrating his win in the Civil War, on April 15, he was shot in the back of the head. This made the whole country devastated. At the play, 'Our American Cousin's', John Wilkes Booth had shot him in the head and then ran. To this day, America is still very upset that the life of our president was taken. Abraham was a very loved human being and his death is very unfair. Abraham was always kind and smart with his decisions. Abraham Lincoln will always be remembered. Gone but never forgotten.
