It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Abraham Henderson, who left this world on April 1, 2026, at the age of 18. He was born on August 24, 2007, and brought love, light, and a gentle joy to those around him throughout his life.

Abraham passed away in Independence, Missouri. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave so freely and the happiness he brought to others will never be forgotten.

He is lovingly survived by his mother Amber; his father Joseph; his sister  Beth; his Nana Sheila and Papa Cliff; his Grammy Kathy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Abraham had a deep love for dinosaurs and found magic in Disney, especially the joy and excitement of Disney parades. He loved simple, beautiful moments; playing patty cake, visiting the zoo, and sharing in the little things that made life feel bright. Abraham was an innocent and pure soul, whose presence brought comfort, warmth, and a quiet kind of happiness to everyone who knew him.

He will be remembered for his sweet spirit, his gentle nature, and the love he gave without hesitation. The space he leaves behind cannot be filled, but the memories of his laughter, his joy, and his light will remain forever.

A celebration of life is currently being planned, and details will be shared with family and friends at a later time.
