Abha's obituary
It is with respectful regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Abha Krishna Paul, who departed this life on the 17th of March, 2025. Born on May 14, 1932, her long and accomplished life was marked by devotion to family, an unfaltering belief in the importance of education, and a love for the simple joys of cooking and gardening.
Abha was a woman of strong opinions. Her love for her family was evident, always wanting them near. She believed that the best foundation for success was a good education, and she was adamant about instilling this belief in her children and grandchildren. Cooking and gardening were her passions – these were activities that brought her pleasure and a sense of tranquility.
One of her crowning achievements was the successful hydroponic farm she built with her husband in Tennessee. This accomplishment was a testament to her resourcefulness and dedication to sustainable and innovative agriculture. But perhaps her greatest accomplishment, the one she held closest to his heart, was raising two children. It was in them that she saw her greatest success, and it was through them that her legacy continues.
Abha is survived by her son, Sunil Paul, and daugher, Smita Paul, who carry on her memory and legacy. Her spirit, and her stories she imparted continue to live on through the lives of those who loved her.
Hers was a life filled with passion, determination, and love. The void she leaves behind can never be filled, but the memories he created will forever bring warmth and comfort to the hearts of those she left behind. Abha Krishna Paul will indeed be missed, but her spirit, values, and the love she shared will be cherished forever.
