Our loving, stylish, funny and very well organized mother Abby Wakefield completed her remarkable life on June 19, 2024, at age 85. Abby had been a New Yorker for more than six decades but spent her last six months at Five Star Premier Residences of Yonkers. She was recently in hospice care for pancreatic cancer, an unexpected end to several years of treatment for peritoneal cancer.
