She was a great buggy partner and friend. Abbie was a bright light for us and a strong teammate. I remember she used to frequently ask if there were ways she could improve during my transitions and every time I basically told her, “You’re doing amazing! I just hope I’m running fast enough to get you 1st across that finish line”. I still tell stories of our team to my family and they know her without having had met her. I really wish our team got to meet together one more time and I’m really going to miss her.

It was an honor to be her hill 5 pusher and friend.

This is heartbreaking. I was Abbie’s neighbor for years and I saw her when she was good and when life was tough for her. She was a sweet soul and I know she loved Madison so much. She will be an angel for those on earth. So so sorry

To the Bednar family I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t believe this. I’m truly blessed to have had her in my life, I cherish the memories we made together. Fly high beautiful!!
