Aaron's obituary

Aaron Cade Tanner, age 21, of Aragon, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at a local hospital.

Cade was born in Rome, Georgia on March 27, 2002, son of Jason Heath Tanner and April Hames Tanner. He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Rena Hames, Glynn & Margaret Shell, Arvil & Geneva Jones, and Clarence & Norma Tanner. Cade was a 2020 graduate of Pepperell High School and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. Prior to his accident, he worked for Kroger and The Steak House in Rockmart. Cade loved dogs, cars, music, and spending time at the lake. He was a huge fan of Japanese Anime and Star Wars.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers; grandparents; great grandmother; aunts & uncles; cousins; as well as his beloved service dog, Yuri.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at 4pm at Flint Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Johnson and Pastor Rick Jacobs officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2pm until the service time.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the church on Sunday at 3:30pm and include Caleb Tanner, Cason Tanner, Stefan Tanner, Tyler Liggins, Tylar Brown, Isaiah Bevels, Devin Frost, Raley Brumbelow, Trace Pitts, Andrew Teare-Ketter, Steven Evans, and Greg Nudi.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sunshine on a Ranney Day at www.sunshineonaranneyday.com/….

The family requests that everyone wear their Cade Strong or Waymaker shirts to the service if they have one.
