As kids we were friends. As adults we were very different people but I still considered him a friend. His contributions to the people around him are numerous and will not be forgotten. Rest in peace old friend.

Aaron rented the condo next to mine at Drummer Boy in Wellfleet. We used to hang, chat, sip beers, and such.

Hi,
Just learned about Aaron's passing and wanted to share my condolences. I never knew him, but have always loved the music he made. "Ghost in My Amp" is one of my and my husband's favorites. We're so sorry he's gone.

I love Aaron very much. I will never forget his saying to me recently how much he loved a passage from a Bach cantata which was so lovely it hurt. Carol

I met Arron when I was 7, he was friends with my older brother Dave , I was a pain in the ass to him until I found out he played the guitar, I asked him what songs he knew He said Angie, and that was it I was in awe of him ever since, I looked up to him like an older brother, he was the first real guitar player I ever met, when I started playing he’d come over and give me lessons, when he moved to California with Tom he got the roadie gig with the Casuals which was pretty life changing for a 14 year old kid to be going to gigs in Boston at the Paradise, watching them open for NRBQ. When Aaron moved back and joined The Casuals he once again lived down the street I’d go over after school and hang out and listen to music, one Time he played me Hello Marylou goodbye heart and said I’d you can learn this solo you can learn anything, so I went home and learned it, went back the next day and played it🤣. Lastly from 1994-95 I joined his band Overnight Sensation, which was a learning experience I’ll always cherish and remember. His song writing, musicianship, impeccable taste, intelligence, all influenced me greatly throughout my young life. Aaron was truly one of the great mentors in my life, we reconnected on Facebook, I had hoped I could’ve seen him again. I only wish he knew what an impact he made in me. My condolences. This one hurts

To all of Aaron’s loved ones: I am so very sorry for your tragic loss. The news of his passing is so shockingly sad. Although I hadn’t seen him in a long time, we were FB friends so I felt somewhat connected. Of the many cool things I’ll remember about Aaron, I’ll always be grateful for his pure enthusiasm for sharing the music he loved. I bought Pet Sounds because of him, and he got me into The Posies, who became one of my favorite bands. He was such a champion for music, both as a musician and a fan, and it was an endearing quality. He is so very missed but will always be remembered with affection and admiration.
