Aaron's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Aaron Pendergast, known to many as "Asher." Aaron was not just a devoted father and husband; he was also a cherished friend and teammate. Aaron was a United States Army Combat Veteran; he served 4 years as an 11B, assigned to the 32nd Infantry Regiment (1-32). During his military career, Aaron served as a Team Gunner, Team Leader, and Armorer, deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Until his last day, Aaron continued to be at the forefront of defense, dedicating more than 10 years to providing high-threat security in the intelligence community.
As we come to terms with this profound loss, we are reminded of the incredible impact Aaron had on the lives of those around him. He was known for his unwavering dedication to his family and teammates, and most particularly, his impeccable style, always dressed for success in his suspenders and bowtie. This was his signature look, a reflection of his professionalism and his inimitable personality.
Aaron's legacy of service and friendship will always be remembered, and he will be deeply missed. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Laken, and his precious 18-month-old daughter, Ava May. A go fund me to support the family can be found at
