Background
Aaron founded Alpha Climbing as a place for youth and young adults to grow—physically, mentally, and spiritually. His mission was to help people reach their full potential, and he dedicated himself to uplifting others, one person at a time.
In Aaron’s honor, we are establishing the Aaron Hjelt Memorial Fund. This fund will provide scholarships for youth and students who otherwise wouldn’t have the means to access climbing or the programs at Alpha Climbing. Your donation will help ensure that Aaron’s work continues—building strong, confident, resilient humans, just as he always did.
Though Aaron is gone, Alpha Climbing will live on—and so will the impact of his life. Aaron's incredible mentors plan to resume climbing trips in 2026 and beyond. With your support, we can keep his dream alive and continue to build the community he poured his heart into.
