Aaron's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved man, Aaron Christian Haynes. He was born January 2, 1976 and departed this world too soon on October 19, 2023 after a short but valiant fight with Thymic carcinoma.

Aaron was a man of many passions and had an undeniable love for life. He loved motorcycles, Thai Boxing, and all genres of music (with a flare for the 80s and unique tracks that were super cool). He was an excellent snowboarder and loved skateboarding as a teenager.  He appreciated all forms of art and he was a talented artist himself.  Aaron felt a sense of peace when visiting art exhibits and while observing nature. He was an illustrator and appreciated many styles of art. His clothing was unmatched with an admirable shoe, sunglasses and jeans collection. He had a distinct sense of style from a very young age. He loved color and loud patterns. His favorite destinations were Maui, Seattle, and Santa Fe, places he found visually stunning and tranquil. He embodied the spirit of 'Ohana. He was best described as loving, laid-back, funny, artistic, wise, creative, stylish and handsome. His calm demeanor, easy-going nature, and observant personality made him a joy to be around. One of his favorite subjects was Philosophy.  He was the life of any gathering in a unassuming way. His laughter was contagious, his voice soothing and he was an incredibly good story teller. Aaron always found a way to lighten the mood and make jokes. He enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. One of Aaron’s great joys was to make delicious food to share with family and friends.

Throughout his life, Aaron imparted many valuable lessons, including living life to the fullest, the importance of good sportsmanship, and the prioritization of people. He held a firm belief in discipline, the significance of quality family and friend time, and the notion that there's always an upside regardless of circumstances. Aaron always encouraged others to pursue their dreams, to be patient, and to take a moment to 'sleep on it'. He believed in not seeking out conflict, but was firm in his stance that if conflict found you, you should stand your ground.

One of his most notable accomplishments was becoming a Kru, a title that speaks volumes of his dedication, discipline, and expertise. Aaron was the US southwest representative of the World Thai Boxing Association. However, Aaron's greatest joys and proudest titles were 'Father', 'Husband', ‘Eldest brother’ and ‘Son’. These titles epitomize his dedication to his family and his unwavering love.

Aaron left a significant legacy, touching the lives of everyone he met. His spirit lives on in his children, who will continue to spread joy and love throughout their community, just as their father did. His children, wife, siblings, parents, students, and extended family will carry forward his teachings, wisdom, and love.

He held a deep faith in God and said he felt he had accomplished everything he had ever wanted. Aaron loved his wife, children, siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins dearly, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Aaron Haynes will be remembered as a beacon of positivity, wisdom, and love. His light still illuminates the lives of those he touched. He will be deeply missed.
