Aaron Gifford

A service to honor and celebrate the life of Aaron Gifford will be held on May 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM at NALC Branch 1100, 13252 Garden Grove Blvd. #100, Garden Grove, CA 92843.

A separate service will be held in Beaufort, SC, on June 7, 2025, to further honor and celebrate his life and inter his ashes. More details to follow.

Aaron enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on September 29, 1980, and served his country with honor until his separation on September 28, 1984. After completing his military service, he began a long and dedicated career with the United States Postal Service.

Aaron was deeply committed to serving others in every aspect of his life. He volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, mentoring youth with compassion and care. As a Union Steward for the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 1100, he tirelessly advocated for the rights and well-being of his fellow postal workers. Informally, he was a brother, mentor, uncle, and father figure to many—always ready to offer support, guidance, or simply a listening ear.

A lifelong learner, Aaron believed in personal growth and maintaining a positive outlook. He was often found reading and enthusiastically sharing knowledge with those around him. He took pride in his heritage and encouraged others to embrace and celebrate their own. His generous spirit and thoughtful presence left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

Aaron’s legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and service. He is survived by loving family members, friends, and coworkers, all of whom will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude.
