Aaron Michael Dennis, 48, of San Francisco, California, passed unexpectedly on December 7th. Born on December 28th, 1972 in Minnesota, Aaron graduated high school in 1991 and went on to complete a degree in History (Cum Laude) from Central Methodist College on a soccer scholarship. While Aaron was at Central Methodist in Fayette, MO, he pledged Alpha Gamma Phi Fraternity (Mokers) where he made countless long lasting friendships. Aaron was passionate about sports. He began playing hockey at a young age in Minnesota and went on to relish every other sport he could excel in. He played basketball in junior high and high school. He was an amazing soccer player. He played for the Rock Bridge Bruins and then went on to play for the Central Methodist team. Aaron was passionate about supporting his teams, especially the Minnesota Vikings. Of all the sports, including skateboarding, that took over his life, surfing was his greatest love. In San Francisco he would surf daily and would talk to anyone who would listen about the thrill of surfing. He was spiritual and was raised in the Protestant faith. He attended First Christian Church in Columbia, MO. where he was baptized. His presence is sorely missed and his loss is deeply felt. Aaron is preceeded in death by his mother and father, William D. and Jacqueline S. Dennis of Columbia, birth mother, Margaret H. Lillyblad of Minnesota, grandfather and grandmother, Franklin and Bea Bradshaw of Columbia. He is survived by his brother and sister Christopher J. of Branson, MO. and Sarah J. Dennis of Midland, TX, one niece, Basma Hassanein of Midland, TX, a brother in law and a sister in law, Abdulbaki T. Hassanein of Midland, TX, and Anlon L. O'Brien of Branson, MO.
