My husband recently passed - we had been technically separated for 4 years. He had been living with me (separate rooms) for the last 3 years - since getting sick - I'm all over the place - I'm not sure if I'm relieved, sad, pissed, disappointed......maybe it's all those things - I just feel horrible all the way around and just trying to be strong for my adult children. We had been together since 1996.

I'm sorry for your and your children's loss. My Grandmother cried after my grandfather passed; they had been divorced for over 25 years, with other spouses for each of them. Separation and paperwork doesn't define a family . I hope you all heal from your grief. Tomorrow is my husband's murder anniversary. I have to hope he will receive justice in what is next, because it isn't now . 🙏🏽 For you.
