The rest of my life is changed forever. We were married 52 years and so comfortable in our retirement. I have no memory of the first 3 weeks ...just going thru the motions of funeral service, thank you notes, and taking care of necessary paperwork because he was a war veteran . I'm just numb ad so lost.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My wife and I were going to celebrate our 25th anniversary this September. It's only been 9 days for me and it's been rough.
Mark, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your wife. Only those of us can understand how empty we feel now that our life partner is gone. I guess one day at a time.........
Sometimes one minute at a time too. I rely heavily on my faith, family, and friends right now.
