I am sorry for your losses... It is very difficult to lose your sister, especially if you guys were very close. My sister passed away on the last day of September last year. It feels like you are missing your other half. It hurts but I learned finding little ways to honor her helps.
I am sorry for your losses -- no wonder it has been difficult for you -- so much to handle in a short period of time. I would counsel you to get out and be with people, go to church, do something -- it's not healthy to isolate yourself more than necessary. I know COVID complicates everything. My oldest sister, 91, died August 27, 2020, and I basically just took to the bed unable to truly function. It has been a short time. I did get up and go to the dentist on Friday, September 4, and got a referral to an oral surgeon to have two teeth extracted (back molars) that can't be saved. I am 77 and feel my sister's death was felt so deeply because to me it seemed like the beginning of the end of "Mom's children" -- with my sister's death, five of Mom's nine children have died. There are 4 of us left and all in pretty bad health. The youngest son is 70 years old and has had carotid and heart stents. All of us have had such good lives but it is just very sad to think about it being the end of the line on earth for my mom's children. It is just so hard to explain. My sister who died August 27 was always there for her eight siblings and for my mom up until she died. She was a wonderful sister and I'm so glad she was part of my life and that I came from such a large family which meant incredible support over the years. I do hope you get to feeling better and that you get out even if it's just walking around your house or down the sidewalk a little bit or maybe going for a dinner at a fast-food restaurant. I want you to feel better -- please let me know what you are doing to get out of the house or create some sort of memorial for your loved ones. Loretta. in Virginia
Yes I have gotten out some because my brother has falling into depression and I had to get up and do what my parents would want me to do they are both in a nursing home and that is hard on me but I have turned it over to God to see me through even though some days are sad but I call on God to pick me up thank you for your words and be safe
I lost my sister 2 weeks ago. It was just me and her. When she passed away on oct6 it left me all alone. Now I have no one. I feel so lost. I just want to die my own self. I miss her so much. She was 8 years older than me. Our mom died 47 years ago so she was like my 2nd mom. I've set up a memorial because she had no income. I need help . I hope someone will read this and text me back
