Hello, I lost both my parents less then a month apart. My father died of cancer on 8/31 /2024 and mother died unexpectedly of post operative complications on 9/24/2024. I have never experienced such sadness and deep depression. I was close to both my parents.

My heart goes out to you as you grieve. I also just lost my mom of complications from a stroke and am experiencing depression, sadness, and anger towards those who don’t acknowledge the loss I’ve suffered. It’s a lonely experience. I don’t have any answers, but I just want you to know that I feel for what you are going through.

I lost my mom in 2021. My life since then feels like a blur. I think I have not death with her death. Greta sadness and despair follow me and envelopes me like a blanket. I look in the mirror and don't recognize the person looking back at me. I am going back to work in a few weeks. Moving and starting over. I started my grief journal today. I hope to get some clarity and the chance to release some of this despair. Blessings to you all

Joyce, all we can do is to get through each day and make progress forward, no matter how slowly, and sometimes backtrack a little. It sounds like you're on the right path. I wish only good things for you in future.

I am so sorry for your loss but I totally understand. We lost our mom June 4th 2023 of lung cancer it was so unexpected, then lost my sister due to suicide July 26th 2024. Then we lost our dad November 26th 2024. It has been so hard my heart is so broken. Loss of parents and siblings is so hard to deal with especially when they were so close together I am still trying to figure out how to deal with it. My heart goes out to you I know the pain and confusion that goes along with loss. We think our parents will live forever, but they live forever in our hearts.
