To everyone here that has lost a loved one, I’m sorry for your loss. I pray that each person suffering this kind of loss, is filled with comfort and peace. I know it’s easier said than done. I’m right here suffering too.
My mother use to say, one day at a time sweet Jesus. Even when she was dying she told us one day at a time sweet Jesus.
She knew she was saved by Grace, and that has helped me somewhat, but I still get these days where washing my face with my tears is as good as it gets some days.
I know we’ll all be ok.
Through the tears, the heartache, the mental distress, the physical pain in our hearts, and the brief moments of laughter when we think of a happy memory, but probably followed by teardrops, we’ll be ok. We now will live not only for ourselves, but for our loved ones we lost.
We’re stronger than we may think.
I lost loved ones in 2019, 2020, 2022
Not just one a year but two or more.
But my mother and grandmother were the hardest for me by far.
I’m sending everyone hugs and blessings your way.
