I remember going to see winter for the first time. I was so excited. She taught me a lot and it’s hard to put into words. I remember hearing winters tweety bird doing while exploring her part of the upper deck. I remember seeing her just having fun. She was an inspiration to me. It’s a miracle that she made it as long as she did. I was very heartbroken to hear that she had passed. She was truly inspired.

I’ve learned from winter hard things may come your way but even those hard things may change you physically but you should still go on no matter and stay strong

I got to meet winter last year on vacation.
I got to talk to her and show her my scare that’s my defibrillator and that we are both survivors I’m a 5 year heart survivor and I was so excited to meet her . I’m really going to miss seeing her and sharing my story .

The name Winter - that comes with this time of the year. When I see a patient with an amputation and an artificial limb. When the warm sun is setting on a day at the beach and you can hear the twitters off in the distance. When ever I feel I am having a hard day at work, my Winter- screen saver reminds me - encouraging a smile to my face. Forever in my ❤️.

I was Heart broken when I heard the news of Winter's passing.  I saw both movies and what a great story!  What an inspiration and strength she brought to all!  I actually had the chance to see her in person!  I sat and watched her and hope!  What amazing animals!  Her strength to endure and live with her disability gave me the courage to live with mine!  I always think about her and continue to watch her movies!  I hope everyone is doing well!  I know how sad I am I can’t imagine the heartbreak with the amazing staff she worked with!  I will never forget her and always remember the smile on everyones face that she touched!  Thanks to all the staff for taking great care of her!

Winter was a sweetie.I fell in Love with her spirit.She was a delightful little girl.

Living within walking distance of the CMA, we enjoy taking visitors there and wandering over ourselves at times. Winter became a familiar face to us and a friend. We have marveled at the comments we hear from people who have seen the film and were thrilled to meet Winter in person, especially children with disabilities. It was heartwarming to hear them say how Winter had touched them and inspired them to meet their own challenges.  She really touched so many lives. She may never have known it, but she did.  We are grateful to everyone at CMA who cared for her, shared her with us, and made her life a happy and rich one. May she now rest peacefully.

Our hearts go out to the most loveable winter who was so inspirational with such a massive loving helping heart who will live in our hearts and lives forever

Winter’s is an inspiration to humankind! Her story will live forever. She impacted the lives of differently abled individuals and is a beautiful beacon of strength and perseverance. Unfortunately my family didn’t get the chance to meet Winter. Nevertheless, she lives in our hearts 💕! We love you Winter🐬!

I remember when winter was rescued and all the love and respect she got. Plus you could see how much love she had for all of you. I miss her so much
