Obituary
Vera Lee Rosser, 78, of Bronx, NY, passed away on February 26, 2023 after a long battle with various health issues. Vera was born on January 11, 1945 to Dobbie and Mary Sanders in Fairfield, Alabama . She grew up in a household with 13 siblings, and was fondly nicknamed “Number 11”. After graduating from Fairfield Industrial High School in May, 1963, she landed her first job as a Clerk at the Federal Reserve for …

Vera did not want funeral service. In July or August 2023, Vera will be taken to her hometown in Fairfield, Alabama where she will be laid to rest with her siblings . We appreciate all the love and support , and encourage everyone to share your favorite memories of Vera on this memorial website. There will be a family gathering in celebration of her life in Fairfield, Alabama, date, time and exact location to be announced. Thank you!
