We are heartbroken by the passing of our brother Valentine, a truly special soul who brought energy, joy, and warmth to everyone around him. Val was the life of the party, always ready with a song and a dance, and his presence was magnetic. We will always remember Valentine as a devoted loving husband to Patty, a proud father to Val Jr. and Sebastian, and shared a special bond with his loyal dog, Rocky.  He was not only a loving family man but also a mentor who touched many lives with his love for baseball and his deep belief in the value of education. Valentine will be deeply missed, but his vibrant spirit and the many lives he impacted will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

One of my favorite memories o…
2005, La Jolla, San Diego, CA, USA

One of my favorite memories of Val was at our wedding reception. He never met a stranger, and that night, like every other time, he lit up the room with his energy. He was the life of the party, dancing like no one was watching, and his laughter was contagious. Val loved his family and friends fiercely, always making everyone feel important and valued. I’ll miss his quick-witted humor, those funny jabs, and the way he pushed himself and others to do better, to be better. I hope he’s still dancing, looking over us, and bringing that same joy and love to everyone around him.

Rest in peace, my friend. You'll always be missed but never forgotten.
