Deborah: On behalf of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, our hearts were sadden to hear about the passing of your husband, Val. Our loss is heaven’s Gain. Be of good courage and know that Val is at Home with the Lord your God and He will see you and your family through this difficult time.
My deepest condolences to Deborah and the family. Sensei Beverly Bradley. 🙏🏾❤️💐

May my long-time friend of 72 years rest in peace. Ah, man. I am so sadden and will miss the few times I am in his presence and his sense of humor. He and his siblings are family to me. Love you, Val.

I extend my deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire Henry family, His strong spirit will remain with everyone always. May He Rest In Peace. 🙏🏾💖
What a profound loss to the community. It has been a true pleasure partnering with him. Our sincere condolences to his family and his entire team.
My brother, my friend! Val was truly my friend and my brother. He was solid, very reliable….I could always count on Val. If we were just hanging out or we were out trying to change the world, I could always count on my brother, my friend.  This is hard for me because Val was one of my main guys. He was somebody I could really get advice from and his wisdom has helped me in many ways. He had so much insight and always had a newspaper in his hand! He was one of the sharpest dressers I know.  He learned from the best! (Smile) Val your village will miss you but I know you are alright! Deborah, Kai, Nia, Lydia we love you and I am here!  Peace and Love, DeCosta
