Tina was a wonderful neighbor and friend.  Even in her sickest times, she would put a smile on her face.  I never heard her complain about her situation.  She was a beautiful person inside and out.  I will miss  seeing her on our daily walks.  She made the world a better place for everyone who knew her!

Our hearts and prayers are with the Mattern family. Tina was a sweet classy lady. I know she was so lived and is so deeply missed.

My best friend, my confidante…
My best friend, my confidante, my travel buddy, my partner in crime. There aren’t words big enough to express how deeply I miss you every single second of every day. You should be here. You are the best person I’ll ever know, and while I’m grateful you’re no longer in pain, the ache of missing you is immeasurable.
Tina, one of the bravest, kindest, caring women that has crossed my path.  We bonded over books, grandsons, hearts and bravery.  What a joy her remembrance is to be carried forward by so many.   I am so sorry for you, her family.  You lost her way too soon.  Thank you for sharing her with others along the way.  I am grateful to have known her.

Tina was always a ray of sunshine ; she brought her kind heart not only serving on the board at Alaqua but to our Pilates group as well. Her sweet smile and encouraging words will be carried on thru the lives she touched. Heaven got an Angel! Till we meet again our friend!

Sending love, hugs and prayers to the entire family!

I was so sorry to hear about Tina's passing. I’m stunned by this news. My new life adventure in Florida after permanently moving to USA from Czech Republic started well, because of her big heart and her support. I often thought of her as my guardian angel. You guys all did so much for me and although I may have moved on to another part of my life, I never forgot you and Tina and I am forever grateful to you all. Tina for some reason came many times in my dreams over the years and i often thought about her because they never make a sense, but maybe it was a gods way to remind me of her. I am very happy David found me on facebook and informed me about Tina’s and Joy’s passing too. I’m so very sorry for your losses. My heart is heavy today, and I know yours is too. I wish you peace and comfort as you grieve. You’re in my thoughts.  I know its hard, but try to remember all the great memories and know that as long as you live, your loved one will live on through you and will never be forgotten. Deepest condolences. Ala & family

Michael and I were so saddened to learn Tina lost her extraordinary fight with cancer.

Tina was a ray of sunshine when in her presence. She was always optimistic and enjoyed life in so many ways. We will miss her, but thankfully we will have lasting memories of her smile and love for life and her family.

Tina was a wonderful person, It has been an honor to know her for over 25 yrs. She will be missed.
Bill - we are so sorry for your and your family’s loss. We missed seeing you at Dot’s birthday. While Bob and I did not know you and Tina well, we do remember visiting you with my Mom and Dad. All our love to you and your family in these difficult times. Gwen (Grabowski) and Bob Krivi.
Billy, you were my friend from 9th grade and through high school and best man at my wedding and still consider you a cherished friend. Didn’t know Tina that well but saw her at all our reunions and could tell she was a real keeper. Your loss is great and nothing I can say or do to take away the hurt only that I hurt with you. I could tell these last few years that Tina was a very courageous women and that will surely carry in in y’all’s children and grandchildren. Love ya man, Wojo
We are very sorry for your loss. We were looking forward to seeing Tina and Bill at our cousin Dot's 90th birthday celebration. Bill's family would visit our home in Nanticoke Pa back in the 50's and early 60's.

My heart hurts forTina’s family. May her light continue to shine bright through all who loved her, especially her husband Bill, children and grandsons. We  are all heartbroken over the loss of our beautiful friend. I loved and admired her more than words can say, and will miss her deeply. She fought so hard, and our Book Club will always have a hole in our collective hearts without her. Serving with her on the HOA board and sharing so many special years together was a true gift.  With Love, Valerie Reynolds

Tina was such a precious friend.  She was one of the strongest, most gracious and thoughtful people I’ve ever known.  She faced these last 2 years with such courage, always caring about others in the midst of such a difficult battle.  I admire her more than I can express.  I miss her deeply.

I just looked at recent photos of Tina, and she still had that smile and glow about her that she had when she was in my junior English class. She had a great personality and a sweetness about her that attracted so many friends to her.

My favorite story about her was when she got her junior yearbook photos. She had braces and a look on her face, as though she had just been surprised from behind. I begged her to give me one of these photos, and only after I promised not to put it in my classroom did she give me one.  Years later, I talked with her and I told her I would return her photo. She had a great sense of humor! I’m always so sad to hear of past students passing away. 🥰

I am  deeply saddened about the passing of Tina. Many Blessings & condolences to her beautiful family.
So sorry to hear of Tina’s passing. She was a classmate and friend to all and she will be missed.
