Beautiful couple — with Tim Ireland and Patricia Ireland

Can’t stop crying - such a beautiful tribute to Timmy.

I met him in 2011 in the ministers office and was blessed to maintain a friendship outside that place. Honoured he let me be part of his life and wedding to the love of his life Patricia .

The world is a lesser place without you, I will miss your deep understanding - a young man old beyond your years, sometimes carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. I’m so happy you find joy and peace and fun with Patricia & the boys.

Thank you for being a beautiful soul that never forgot his roots and community, for making a difference in politics and bureaucracy - so proud of your achievements and will steady remember your humility, the love and devotion to your family and that  knowing smile.

Much love to adored wife Patricia & Tim’s beloved family. Such a beautiful soul gone too soon but leaves a huge imprint in our lives. Will miss that laugh and your smile ❤️🌟 rest in paradise beautiful soul & fly free.

What an amazing boss and an incredible human! I'll never forget Tim's humour, his unending support, his love of Coke Zero and cigarettes! As my Director from 2012 to 2014 Tim helped me through one of the most challenging times of my life, his comfort, care and support will never be forgotten and still brings tears to my eyes when I reflect. I will never forget speaking to him from Milson's Point one night when my world was crashing  and his calm and assuring words was everything I needed to hear. He gave me the courage to return to a place that felt awkward and intimidating. His encouragement gave me strength to face the unknown.  His intuitive soul knew when to reach out to me about my career and that conversation alone has led to where I am today. I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Tim's passing, it is so tragic and unfair! RIP beautiful man! 🙏💙

Sending my deepest condolences to Tim's Wife, Family, friends and all who knew Tim.

I worked with Tim and Tim's beautiful Mother Rita, whilst in ADHC and after being colleagues, became friends.

Both amazing people, dearly missed and so so respected.

Rest in Peace Tim.

I met Tim when I began back as Chairperson of SNAICC. Tim was CEO of ABSEC. It was obvious from the beginning that Tim had a gentle, kind and caring soul. He brought a carefully considered depth of knowledge and skills to every role he undertook. I then witnessed his work when he went to NSW government. He will leave a lasting memory for his legacy work in NSW government and the gravitas of his advocacy in progressing NSW’s Close the Gap commitments which no other state has been able to emulate. My favourite memories will be of his cheeky grin and little giggle you teased him. Condolences to his family but know that he was loved by those whose lives he touched and will be sorely missed. We have lost a champion in Tim. Muriel Bamblett
