I was so sorry to hear about Tim's passing. He was such a  kind, supportive, and loyal friend. Sending my prayers and condolences to his family ❤️ 🙏🏽

I met Tim in 2010 when he was my high school rowing coach at ARC. I honestly don't remember how he was as a coach but he was a witty, funny, smart human and it was impossible not to enjoy his company. In college I started coaching with Tim and we became friends. Grateful for his mentorship, friendship, and impact on my life. Pic is from the Head of the Charles in 2016 with Abby & Caroline who were all ARC juniors while Tim coached.
I was blessed having known Tim. I will truly miss his whit, his humor, and his ability to make me smile. I am so sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to you all. 🙏 🙏🙏 Tim was an absolute Kind & Sweet Soul☮️ Prayers for comfort and strength 🙏☮️🕊

Tim coached with Austin Rowing Club juniors for several years.  He was known, loved and respected in the whole Austin rowing community.  We are remembering him this week and will keep his name alive in our traditions.

My memories of Tim are tinged with the smirk and dry humor of his rapier wit.  You can see it in every photo on this memorial.

My most cherished memory of Tim is the day he taught me the best ethnic portmanteau ever: Thairish (Thai + Irish).  After he uttered that word, the next ninety minutes were nonstop anecdotes and laughter--some self deprecating, some grandstanding.

For better or for worse, I believe every person, once guided to adulthood, should have the right of self determination.  Tim shared this belief with me and he guided our youth through rowing and learning to that right of adulthood.  We greet people every day knowing the risk and reward of loving others.  The reward of knowing Tim was easily worth the risk.
