So sad to hear of Teris rest after a long battle 😢.
I have only known this now. I knew her when she, her husband and team 180 visited Nairobi and cared for some young people and the Church in Ziwani.
May God strengthen all of you and comfort you all.

Teri was such a pleasure to work with. Her pleasantness and personality shone through even the text of her emails. It's clear the passion she had for helping others as she supported our department at AbbVie. Any time I reached out to her, she was wonderful and intentional. I'm praying for strength for her family in this difficult time and appreciating the legacy she leaves behind through her loved ones and the people she touched. Rest in in perfect peace Teri.

I've only known Teri a brief time as a fellow admin at AbbVie, but her sparkling personality and ready smile made working with her so easy. She will be missed! My most sincere condolences to the family.

Oh Mike, I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved that I had a chance to get to do the Philippines missions trip with you both, in 2009. Teri would come into Marcia and my hotel room every morning and fix our hair for us. She was a beautiful and loving sister in Christ. Such a joy to be around. I remember calling her "Cricket" because she said that crickets were tasty. She and I never got the chance to go have Dim Sum. It's been years since I've seen either of you, but you both will always be in my heart because of that mission trip, as well as Colin, Marcia, Christy, Kelly, Tom and Michele. Prayers for peace and comfort and strength are what I pray for you and all the family and friends who were blessed by your amazing wife. Love and hugs in Christ Jesus! I'm looking for my pictures from our trip so I may post again. Hugs and prayers for all, but especially you, and Teri's mom and siblings. Earth's great loss of a beautiful soul. Heaven's beauty so enhanced. Not goodbye to you, my friend, "Cricket", just "see you later!"

2024, Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Vernon Hills, North Milwaukee Avenue, Vernon Hills, IL, USA
A few years ago, Teri took over supporting our department, in addition to her other responsibilities. She was always so personable and willing to help out, and she was super efficient! Even when she was dealing with her illness, she continued to have a positive attitude, show kindness, and support our department. I frequently shared pictures with Teri of my Halloween decorations and videos of the wildlife we have in our neighborhood, including black bears. It made for some great correspondences. In December of 2024, I was in lake County and I invited Teri to join us for a team dinner at Perry's Steakhouse. This is a picture of the event. I'm glad Teri was able to join us for the event. She told me that, because of her treatment, she hadn't been able to enjoy a steak for several months. She was so excited to be able to have a steak again. It saddened and surprised me to hear the news about Teri, especially since she had told me in an email about a week before that her doctor was so encouraged by the preliminary results of the latest treatment that he sent her an email late at night. Rest in peace, Teri, and I'm sure you are spreading joy to so many people in heaven.

My deepest condolences to Teri's family. This news is heartbreaking. I knew her from my time at AbbVie, and she was an absolutely wonderful person. Every time I ran into her in the hallway or she popped into my office, she brightened my day. Everyone she worked with just adored her.

I had the privilege of meeting Teri at Abbvie . I was delighted when she became my administrative assistant. Always positive, always with a can do attitude. She greeted everyone with a smile. Her sweet winning personality was a treasure. Sincere sympathy to all her family. This hurts. She will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

The impact that Teri had on people was amazing. I only met her once during an event at work, where we sat next to each other and talked for a little while, but the passion and energy she had for people and giving back were palpable. My deepest condolences to her family.

Teri was such a bright and light spirit. Work-wise, she was smart and creative, conscientious and generous. But, she also brought much more to the halls of AbbVie. Warm, caring, and energetic, she was a special asset to our workplace and world. She will be missed. My condolences to her husband and family.

The few times I met Teri, four things were crystal clear: 1. She was a very positive, happy and caring person. 2. She loved Michael (and he was crazy about her). 3. She and Michael made a great pair. 4. I wish I had the opportunity to know her better. Rest in peace, Teri. Sounds like you touched many with your kindness and positivity.

Teri was a truly special person. Teri occupied the cube next to me when I started my role at Abbvie in May of 2019. I had just gone through a personally tumultuous time and Teri was there to only orient me to a new company and role, but also become a quick friend, so kind and caring. We shared a love of hiking and the outdoors and spent a bit of time talking about all of the places where we wanted to hike and visit. She was all light and love. She will be so very missed by so many. My deepest condolences to her husband and her whole family. Karen
