Background
Teri had a deep love for the outdoors, especially Van Patten Woods—a place she affectionately called “Teri’s Park.” In honor of her special connection to that place, the family is planning a lasting tribute: a permanent commemorative plaque at Sterling Lake in Van Patten Woods.
The cost of the plaque and dedicating the trail around Sterling Lake to Teri's memory is $25,000. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves. All donations are 100% tax deductible and will go entirely toward Teri’s memorial plaque and dedicated trail, honoring her legacy for generations to come. Contribute
