Susan, no words can express the sadness in my heart.
God blessed me the day He told your son Brandon to reach out to my daughter Tiffany.
God entered Tiffany into your heart, a heart filled with love , kindness and acceptance. Your heart loved not only my daughter but my grandchildren as well, who you treated and loved just as your own.. Never did they lack a grandmother or a mother when they moved to Kansas, you took them, supported and loved them as Christ would. For this I am eternally grateful.
On my first visit there you welcomed me into your home as family, you poured out your love and kindness even to me, a complete stranger.
I will always remember your potatoe soup.... it was the best ever.
I am so thankful to God that I was able to see you and DC a few weeks ago. Your loving smile and gentle spirit will be with me always.
The verse that God keeps putting in my head is, 2Tim 4:7-8
You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race and you have kept the faith. Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to you on that day.
Thank you Lord and thank you Susan for being such a good and faithful servant.
You will be so dearly missed, always loved and all that knew you will be continually blessed by your part in their lives.
Love forever, Joanne
