Kristen:

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you and your family. May you always treasure the beautiful memories of good times you had with your mother. She was a faithful servant in the vineyard for our Lord. May she rest in eternal peace with the Lord in heaven. Your mother’s caring heart and compassion will live on through your dedication and compassion in your role as a social worker. You are an amazing person and I have no doubt your folks are very proud of you. With heartfelt prayers to you and your family.

Sharon was a friend and treasured colleague in Brazil. She left her mark on many peoples lives and we shared great memories  and laughs together with our son’s  close friendship and escapades.  May God comfort the hearts of her family she left behind.

Dan and I have lots of fond memories of our sister in law, Sharon. I remember lots of Thanksgiving and Christmas spent with her and the family at our house. She always brought great food and had her camera near by to photograph the day. It was fun to get together as a family and catch up on what was going on. She would tell me of her latest adventures in crafting and I’d be amazed at some of the things she did. She introduced me to zentangle. I’d never even heard of the word but she insisted that even I, a terrible sketcher/artist, could do it. I never got near to the talent she showed in her work, but I did learn that I was able to trick people into thinking I knew what I was doing! She however, was the real deal. We always ended a visit with the wish that we lived closer. Dan and I will miss her. She is missed already.

I join the chorus of testimonies of others remembering Sharon as a wonderful person.  My interaction with Sharon was in the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of New Hampshire, 1970-73.  Sharon glowed with joy of the Lord in meetings, Bible studies, retreats, and around campus.  After a gap of many years, we were able to meet in recent years for a few luncheon meetups with IVCF Alumni.  Sharon, though slowed by health issues, was still the same sweet, ardent Christian lady with a compelling life story.  We were blessed to have known her.  Jerry Zoller, IVCF UNH 75.
Sharon will be remembered for her kindness, love, and compassion for others. Her hand-crafted notes were a blessing. We have precious memories with Sharon and Dave.  Extending our deepest sympathy and prayers to Dave and family.
I was blessed to have Sharon as my dearest friend for at least 53 years. We meet at UNH, grew up in the Lord together and remained close ever since then. She is one of the kindest, most creative people I have ever known. I look forward to the day we will all be together again with the Lord. But for now, I will miss her terribly, and my heart goes out to her family as they struggle to cope with her absence.

Dear Staples Family

I am so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. I will always remember her as a kind and loving  guidance counselor at PACA  and faithful servant of the Lord. Hugs to you all!

I only know Kristen and must say that Sharon and Dave did a wonderful job of raising such a caring and loving daughter

Blessings
